Seared Steak with Blue Cheese Sauce
Love a good steak dinner? Try my Seared Steak with Blue Cheese Sauce for a gourmet meal at home! Perfectly cooked steak with a creamy, tangy blue cheese sauce that's absolutely irresistible. Bon appétit!
Recipe
Ingredients:
2 sirloin steaks (about 1-inch thick each)
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
Remove steaks and set aside, loosely covering with foil.
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Stir in heavy cream, blue cheese, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
Return the steaks to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them. Sprinkle with parsley.
Serve the steaks with extra sauce drizzled over the top.
