Getting a challan for following traffic rules, Apparently I crossed the stop line (Which is not even visible)
@MTPHereToHelp Respected Mumbai Traffic Police, please tell me if this is fair - I stopped before the divider. Even after raising grievance they say challan is valid
Dear @reliancejio@JioCare
I recharged for ₹899, but ₹921.84 was deducted from my bank account.
The invoice still shows ₹899 - so where did the extra ₹22.84 go?
Please clarify this discrepancy.

To those who habitually threaten India on the “Chicken Neck Corridor”, should note these facts as well:
1️⃣ Bangladesh has two of its own “chicken necks”. Both are far more vulnerable
2️⃣ First is the 80 Km North Bangladesh Corridor- from Dakhin Dinajpur to South West Garo Hills. Any disruption here, can completely isolate the entire Rangpur division from rest of Bangladesh.
3️⃣Second is the 28 km Chittagong Corridor, from South Tripura till the Bay of Bengal. This corridor, smaller than India’s chicken neck, is the only link between Bangladesh’s economic capital and political capital.
I am only presenting geographical facts that some may tend to forget.
Just like India’s Siliguri Corridor, our neighbouring country is also embedded with two narrow corridors of theirs.

It is impossible to walk in Mumbai. At least in the suburbs.
Last month we spoke to a millionaire business coach who came to Mumbai for a day for a seminar. He said he felt stupid waiting for a signal to turn green. Because when it turned green, no car stopped anyway.
Footpaths don't exist
If they do - they are taken over by illegal vendors
Nobody stops at zebra crossing, once there were CCTV cameras and people were being fined with e-challans for breaking signals
Peripheral connectivity is non existent. Just a metro is not enough. How do people reach the metro?
For example - I love to take the metro to our studio but the short walk from metro to my home is a huge risk due to lack of walkways.
Bikers often use footpaths to drive. Ridiculous.
During mornings traffic cops open lanes of the opposite sides due to traffic. This is acceptable for ambulances or in case of emergencies. But it has become a normal practice. Essentially making it a huge risk.
India as a country receives less tourists than Dubai - a city. We have A LOT to offer to the world. Our history, our food, our culture. But how can a tourist explore a city where mere walking is risky?
Two unbelievable things that happened in Barbados.
Still can’t get over that catch from Surya and so happy for Rahul Dravid to lay his hands on an ICC trophy as coach.
