@SAChupacabra@CaseG51395@NOELreports Hitting communcations is good but RU is trying to create their own version of Starlink to pilot attacks deep inside Ukraine. They already launched some satellites. This will hinder the effort. Plus, of six satellites recently lauched, 4 moved close to a Finn-Pole satellite.
@Jonpy99 Thanks.
Mortar tubes are much easier to make but I find it difficult to believe that they are responsible for so much of the art systems kill category. RU made 3 mil art and 2 mil mortar shells. I don't think RU built 16k or 8k mortars but Fedorov usually tells the truth AFAIK
@Jonpy99 To clarify, when you say tube artillery hasn't been withdrawn in large numbers the last 2-3 years, that includes both towed and SP?
Do we know the production numbers of Russian mortars?
@Jonpy99@Justahu50471094 Ukraine claims to have video of their kills from drones and that they now have ammo designed to destroy barrels. I don't have data on Russian mortar destruction or production and don't see how that answers everything. I can't figure it out, either.

@Jonpy99@Justahu50471094 Asking: They announced plans to build 36 2S44s this year. Have there been about 36 barrels stripped or more? Before the Flamingos, what was the estimated barrel production for the 2S19/2S43's?
Thanks.
@r0tartedman@AMK_Mapping_ It's about detection and killing Russians before they can mass. It's easier to detect Russians in open fields or moving along treelines than in a city where there is more cover and concealment. Once Russia moves into a city, they start massing faster than they are cleared.
@lagerbrewer@AMK_Mapping_ Russians are still on Kinburn Spit and despite depriving Crimea of fuel, natural gas and electricity, Ukraine isn't close to controlling it.
@yamlima1@Maks_NAFO_FELLA It was hard for Russia to supply that isolated position. It would be much harder for Ukraine to sustain troops and it would not provide any advantages.
@OrkishAmerican@AnnoyedUke@ChrisO_wiki Ork, just admit you're a Putin fanboy with no facts. The Russians themselves can't tell where the Oreshnik will land. https://t.co/RL8LKw9PMT
And Ukraine's Lima EW has been effectively jamming glide bombs and missiles when they are deployed.
What do you get for your support?
@DCK165@ZelenskyyUa Why do you support Russian imperialism?
Ukrainian air defenses are partially effective. With more RU defenses around Moscow, Putin's estate and the Kerch bridge, factories will be undefended. When destroyed, the will no longer have missiles to attack Ukraine.
