But there was no appetite for giving them any let-off for their testimony. So they got a 40 year sentence.

Months ago @StephenGrey was able to get a jailhouse confession out of one of the men responsible for Daphne Caruana Galizia's assassination. Just hours ago him and his brother made a dramatic courtroom reversal and pled guilty. More trials are to come, but this was a victory.
