@JoeKinseyexp We only have room for one ex-NFL star that doesn't know shit about the sport he is covering on Netflix and that is Marshawn "Beast Mode" Lynch. (Not a jab at Marshawn, he makes up for the lack of knowledge with being funny as hell)
@G2ThaUNiT@lastchalice Speaks to how awful the Xbox and Windows Store apps are on Windows that people will spend 70+ dollars for a game on Steam they'll play through once in less than a month instead of subscribing to game pass for $13.99 to do the same thing, plus get access to a bunch of other games.
@GTJames4ATL@ferago42@Anthony_S026 Exactly, achievements and trophies are such an overlooked metric when people are covering sales and engagement. 3 million players that loved and finished the game looks a bit different than 3 million players who installed it via game pass and bounced off after an hour.
@JohnnyGaming9 Paid games have effectively been revoked before, but these cases involved refunds or online-service shutdowns. There is no history of Sony pulling a paid, standalone game from purchasers’ libraries with no refund in the same way they have done for paid video content.
@therealcliffyb Had this same thought today. The bigger studios should have multiple smaller teams working on smaller projects simultaneously. Games are way too bloated these days. We need smaller games that take risks with gameplay, art style, subject matter, etc.
@beyond_fps I suspect a lot of people just played Doom Dark Ages on game pass and don’t want to buy DLC for a game they don’t even own. That’s the case for me at least.
@SnapBlastPLAY Here’s the problem Xbox had—The only games worth playing on this list, south of midnight and hellblade 2, I completed in less than a month while subscribed to a month of pc game pass. For like 12 dollars I finished two 50 dollar games that had zero replay value.
@JamesMelville Studs up slide is explicitly outlawed in the sport. Doesn't matter if he touched the ball, you simply cannot do this. Flo's Red Card is not comparable in any way shape or form.
@HawkeyeKeller55@jimgeraghty Offsides as a penalty isn't dumb, it's the way it's enforced using VAR. The rule exists to prevent cherry picking but VAR is putting it under a microscope and using body parts and even hair to determine if a player crossed an imaginary plane.
@Chunkypuff91@JimmyBroadbent A year of Apple TV is only like 10 dollars more than a year of F1TV was before and you get access to some banger shows for that extra 10. Now if you paid for cable or YTTV or something and watched on ESPN, I can understand your frustration
