i opened @civitiaorg just to try it out… and 10 minutes later i was earning rent from a city i minted myself.

this echelon x civitia collab on Initia is actually way more fun than i expected.

@EchelonMarket is a platform where people lend or borrow crypto, and Civitia is an on-chain game that looks and feels like monopoly. together they’re showing how different blockchains can actually work together instead of staying separate.

usually, when people talk about interoperability it sounds too complicated like it’s only for developers. but this collab is a simple example of it in action. because of @initia's system both apps can connect easily sharing users, rewards, and features without needing bridges or long steps. it’s like two apps speaking the same language.

now let’s talk about what’s happening in this season.
It’s called the echelon x civitia sponsored season, and it runs until november 6. when you play, you roll dice on the civitia board. if you land on a lend city or a borrow city, you complete a quick task using echelon like lending 500 INIT tokens or borrowing 100 USDC.

once you do that, you can mint your own city as an nft.
that city becomes yours, and every time someone else lands on it, you earn a bit of rent in INIT tokens. It’s like monopoly, but here your properties actually pay you real rewards and the rewards are not small. you earn rent between 0.1 to 0.2 INIT every time someone lands on your city. you also get DeFi yields from echelon’s lending system, a 15K INIT jackpot for top players, and a vip reward pool of 72K INIT plus 10% of echelon’s emission rewards. every city you mint also gives you tournament points, silver, and contribution points that help you move up in the leaderboard.

what makes it fun is how easy it feels. you don’t need to know everything about DeFi. the game teaches you while you play. @initia does all the heavy lifting in the background connecting echelon and civitia smoothly so you can just focus on the fun part.

a few simple tips can help:

🠒 roll when you have enough INIT or USDC ready so you can do tasks faster.
🠒 use silver boosts wisely they increase your chances of landing where you want.

try lending and borrowing in loops to earn more APY and if possible mint your cities early players usually get better rewards later.

so yeah this isn’t just another campaign. it’s a mini showcase of how blockchains can finally act like one connected universe. season 2 is live until november 6, so if you’re curious this is your chance to see that future and maybe earn some INIT while you’re at it
