@MadAxeGames I get you, that’s why we’re building the whole game around it

[Duvic @duvicstudio]

Worked a bit on the new ship 🚀

It starts slow,
But with enough upgrades...
It DESTROYS the planet 💥😈

@42traviss Very cool, maybe add a white flash when the big lightning strikes? The whole screen or even just the background sky

[Duvic @duvicstudio]

@PressX_Global Thanks! It’s even more satisfying when you actually play it 😉

[Duvic @duvicstudio]

@7ants_studios The white tiles are upgrades: fire speed, extra bounce, extra balls, stuff like that

[Duvic @duvicstudio]

@Giulio6686 Sounds like you’re on to something 😏

[Duvic @duvicstudio]

@MuensterMorton Looks cool! I think it would feel even punchier with a brief freeze frame when killing an enemy

[Duvic @duvicstudio]

@gyuforge Stealing this term for the next team sync! 🤣

[Duvic @duvicstudio]

When you're supposed to be bug fixing and testing mechanics... but you accidentally end up just playing your own game for way too long instead. 😅

Does this happen to you too?

[Duvic @duvicstudio]

@Arts7789 I don’t think the highlights should spin

[Duvic @duvicstudio]

@mitansh_j07 Appreciate it! On to the rest of the game! 🤩

[Duvic @duvicstudio]

Started working on the game's art 🎨

The background is a placeholder, but I'm happy with how the tiles turned out! ☺️

[Duvic @duvicstudio]

@PressX_Global Thank you! Glad to hear it's reading well 😃

[Duvic @duvicstudio]

@Youkoulailay Haha good to know I'm not the only one! 😳

[Duvic @duvicstudio]

@nickling017 100%! Getting hooked on your own game loop is definitely a good sign 😂

[Duvic @duvicstudio]

@RandomSwitchGmr @kunchevsky Agree, but he did complain about it 😅
Game design is about intentionality

[Duvic @duvicstudio]

@OozyEssence @AIJC_nagahira Could be nice if you had a way to direct him... like going the opposite direction from the hit

[Duvic @duvicstudio]

Working on a new ship 🚀

Kind of a shotgun-style ship...

I think we overdid it 😅
