The radical BC NDP have survived a second confidence vote thanks to three independent MLAs—Tara Armstrong, Dallas Brodie, and Jordan Kealy—who chose not to show up for work.
Instead, they boasted about not showing up for the vote. Let’s be clear: the NDP government survived and avoided another election because these independents didn’t want one.
Why? Because all three would likely lose their seats—and their taxpayer-funded paycheques. By refusing to vote, they effectively supported the motion.
They’ve tried to spin their alliance with David Eby by claiming their votes wouldn’t have made a difference, as the Speaker would break the tie. But that’s far from certain. More importantly, they were elected to show up and vote.
Make no mistake: they’re siding with David Eby.
Common sense Conservatives are always ready to take down this radical NDP government and deliver lower taxes and safer streets for British Columbians.
If these independents have a change of heart and truly want to defeat the NDP, they’ll start by showing up for work. Better yet, they’ll resign and call a by-election in their ridings—so they can run as independents and let voters decide.
Such an insane story from an accountant of how the CRA is freezing people‘s bank account’s and turning them homeless over BOGUS filings that they made on behalf of the individual.
Mind blowing.
David Eby's NDP is scapegoating hardworking British Columbians as "speculators" to justify failing policies.
The vacancy tax is nothing more than a cash grab to fund insider deals and political patronage.
British Columbians deserve better.

David Eby and the NDP - they’re out of touch, the reason you're not safe is the drugs, crime, and chaos their policies have brought to our neighbourhoods. #bcpoli
Vancouver B.C. has the most horrific drug scene I have ever witnessed in North America. Discovery Institute and We Heart Seattle teamed up to learn more about what's fueling this hell on earth. So called "safe consumption sites" and non-profits giving away drug supplies like candy have trapped addicts in a vicious cycle. We did not see a single agency intentionally offering detox or treatment to anyone on the streets. This is failed public policy in action.
David Eby’s wildfire policies are a disaster—John Rustad will bring back common-sense wildfire prevention & management, saving lives and taxpayer dollars. #BCpoli
NEW - @JohnRustad4BC announces a Conservative government will clear all tent cities across the province, and no future ones will be allowed to stand. Plus, drug use will be banned in supportive housing, in a bid to improve safety of neighbourhoods, he says.
The BC Conservative Party has reached out to me.
I have expressed my concerns and I’m assured that they still want to get gender ideology out of schools, and tackle the unscientific, extraordinarily harmful practice of child transition.
Statements should be coming out in the near future.
In an election that is 50/50 in the polls, the BC Conservatives need more than 50% of the popular vote to win.
That’s because they will win by large margins in rural communities, but in cities, where there are more ridings, they still need to gain swing votes.
The easiest way to do that is by being clear and firm that gender ideology does not belong in schools, and that we should not be stopping the development of perfectly healthy children, or performing surgeries on them because they’ve been taught the abusive nonsense that they were born in the wrong bodies!
The immigrant community almost entirely rejects this ideology.
Women on the left, have been left by the left, and they too will change their vote on this issue alone.
Women don’t like men coming into their spaces, their sports, and their prisons.
If I were the BC Conservative Party, I would waste no time in focusing on this issue. It wins spectacularly.
We cannot afford 4 more years of the NDP.
Get out to vote on October 19th, and vote BC Conservative.
