The Android grid connect app has 500k+ downloads.

@mircomusolesi @mathiasdisney It’s exactly that. Having read up on it, it then carries on with a person trying to extract bank info from the people who respond with some pretty nasty threats.

@mircomusolesi Indeed. It started off weird but couldn’t help myself in pressing 1 anyway, got in touch with a “constable X” and then the call got cut off. Reported the number to action fraud right after that.
