@AngelaBelcamino The liberalism I knew was always a proponent of free speech. I didn't agree with Charlie Kirk on a lot of things,but I respected him and his willingness to debate those who disagree with him. His death was a tragedy. Liberalism only survives if all views are allowed.

@benshapiro It sounds like a Catholic theologian. The idea that our western industrial society has left the spiritual life wanting is not a new concept. I've heard this from Christians, Buddhists, Socialists, Conservatives as well.
