I am a student of University of Ilorin, studying Chemical Engineering,
but before I entered Uni, one thing I’ve settled within my heart, and made very clear, is that I’ll NEVER pass through Uni as just a “Student”
I don’t want it to be that all there’s to me is just the “Student” tag, and as someone who has been building Influence, earning income, and making impact from age 16/17, even before entering Uni, I knew I was on the right path
I knew I just had to continue, and I had made up my mind that not even Engineering will make me abandon this path I’ve found myself , no matter how challenging or tough it gets
I’m still on the Journey, but I’ve grown massively and pulled crazy milestones, whilst still battling with engineering,
When I graduate, my track record will not just be the good grades I graduate with, or the certificate I get from COREN as a certified Chemical engineer…
Beyond all those amazing feats, I also want to look back and see the lives that completely got transformed because they got in contact with me, because I opened them to certain possibilities… because I gave them Exposure and opportunities…
And if you know me and follow me from atleast 4years ago (outside X), you’ll know that I’m also particularly invested in helping young people (mostly undergraduates) build a life of Income, Influence & Impact as young as they are.
You can be more than just another Student,
Beyond your Grades, you can build impact whilst on Campus, and I’ll be here tonight to share my Journey, share my experience, and share my Knowledge on how I’ve built and sustained a life of Impact as a student, and how you can too, beyond your Grades
Find the details below 😁
See you there!
@realtinabrown_ Not just thinking alone, I would say structured thinking.
Because thinking in itself without a structure, wouldn't yield results.
Great Job Queen.
The most attractive thing you can be to a partner is financially stable.
Not rich. Stable.
Someone who:
• Pays bills without panic
• Has savings for emergencies
• Doesn't borrow before payday
• Has a plan beyond next month
Romance without financial stability is just beautiful stress.
Build your career first.
Love lands better on solid ground.
There’s an unfair advantage to become crazily successful that many people simply neglect.
Think about this:
Herbert Wigwe & Aig founded Access Bank. Before that they were directors at GTB.
Before Moniepoint became a unicorn, the founders had worked at another unicorn called Interswitch.
Before Steve Jobs started apple, he had interned at HP.
Coincidence? No.
Exposure is an unfair advantage.
Do everything you can in this life to get into rooms where your dreams are the norm for the people there.
See what is possible.
Get into those circles by any legal means necessary.
You’ll never be the same. Something will rob off on you.
To mentors in design
If you teach people how to make money, land clients ,transparency isn’t optional, it’s responsibility.
Show how you earn. Show what’s realistic. Show what’s hard.
And mentees : ask the right questions
Big numbers mean nothing without clear proof of replication.
I’ve seen a huge increase in branding enquiries this year.
Honestly, more than last year and last year was busy.
It’s got to the point where we’re increasing our prices almost monthly. Not because it sounds good to say that, but because the demand and the level of work coming in has shifted.
I think founders and businesses are starting to realise something.
When everyone has access to the same tools, the same AI, the same templates… your brand becomes the differentiator.
Being distinctive isn’t decoration. It’s positioning.
Ngl, I don't think there's a single person who can beat their chest and say critique doesn't in some way or the other sting.
But how we handle it is what differs. Personally once I get one, I almost immediately spring into correcting it.
It's how have I always learned and operated.
But yeah, it still does hurt, especially when you give certain pieces your all
Designers You are not your design, don’t let it determine your worth or value. However, how you respond to a critique of your design, is who you are becoming.
Detach ego from output. Attach discipline to improvement.
