@timpetri@vercel@cramforce@rauchg We updated the sampler to respect the inbound decision. However, it still has to respect the configured sampling rate on top of it. This way, if you were to sample 100% then we'd always follow the inbound decision. Could you try again?
@timpetri@vercel@cramforce@rauchg Got it. I'll check. It's possible that the inbound trace context conflicts with the sampling decisions that we are making which would override the inbound context. Most likely can be reconciled. I'll follow-up.
@ccccjjjjeeee The main reasons that library exists are (1) zero config for Vercel log/otel drains, (2) support for Edge runtime, (3) some performance considerations.
