@LukeTryl What's most interesting about this 'hypothetical' is that Reform's vote dips only a little...the Labour bounce seems mostly from the Green vote (and LibDem to an extent)
@PaulEmbery We also had 'sovereignty' over India for 200 years...
UK should divest colonial relics (though Falklands to Argentina after psychopath Milei has gone)

@BethRigby Given that Starmer appointed Mandelson before the vetting process, either he thought Mandelson would sail through it (unlikely!) or he didn't care whether he passed it or not.
Either way, terminal?
@AnnieBtransport@AlansTweets @Esther_Loukin One scandal of the first (1995) #DDA was that transport (and education) were shameful excluded form 'Part III (Services). Short blog about this here: https://t.co/WoOsHtWoDq
I enjoyed talking to @ciltuk last month about my work with @LivingStreetsEd.
Apart from anything else, another excuse to show โthe pointless poles of Slateford Roadโ illustrating pavement clutter! https://t.co/T6oti6slXH
Hi @LidlGB.
There's a nasty drainage problem at your Edinburgh Dalry store car park (at the foot of the steps to Dalry community park).
Could you please get this fixed so customers don't have to tread in dirty water to visit the store?
Thank you!
The United States has spent EIGHT TRILLION DOLLARS fighting and policing in the Middle East. Thousands of our Great Soldiers have died or been badly wounded. Millions of people have died on the other side. GOING INTO THE MIDDLE EAST IS THE WORST DECISION EVER MADE.....
Very disappointing that councillors today rejected our call to increase spending on pavement maintenance.
Budget held for 4th year in a row now - while the spending on roads ('carriageway') has more than doubled.

Interesting that Reform's Scottish manifesto includes tackling inefficient roadworks through a 'lane rental' system - as advocated by sustainable travel groups including @LivingStreetsEd.
Could there be a cross-party consensus for this in the new Scottish Parliament?
