@sytaylor @ensdomains ENS is a big table listing which string is owned by whom. The first to register a string ending in .eth becomes its owner; for strings ending in .com (& others) you must first own the corresponding DNS domain. Once you own any string, you may configure it to point where you like.

@etherscan ✋ Better decimals support throughout the integration. Ideally Etherscan would consult the decimals property in the token metadata, and if absent maybe fall back onto a non-standard decimals() on the contract. Thanks!

@nicksdjohnson @haydenzadams @Uniswap I was considering a solution whereby tokenURI returns a URL to a stateless web service that responds by calling the contract’s generateDataURI… and later when there is better data: support, flick a switch on the contract that connects tokenURI to generateDataURI directly.
