@BenjiNaesen @Ritenbrauksana @UCI_cycling Yes, but 1. there is ambiguity in the text re applicability to only stage or both stage & single day races re a DSQ, and 2. discretion in terms of what constitutes 'serious' - e.g. Reusser had people between herself and road, MvDP did not. I'm all for consistent interpretation.

Aside from the fine, a possible (ie. likely in this case) yellow card infringement (currently under trial from 01.08.24) - and even then a minimum 2 yellow cards required in a single day race for DSQ....

@tomdanielson I'm sure this is just me, but i regard Tadej's most significant/educational loss came before the '22 TdF - in RVV, when a 2 up sprint melted into a missed podium - and i felt his Tour loss this year was still a 'hangover' from this result + '23 TdF was obv impacted by LBL injury
