We are here to remember the two beautiful dogs Marshall and Millions who were killed by the Met Police earlier this week, to remember all the human and non-human lives that are taken every day at the hands of the state and the police, and to hold the Met Police accountable for their actions.

Just as with the return of Love and Libby, the two rescued beagles who were devastatingly returned back to a life of torturous animal testing, the police have once again failed to serve and protect lives.

Thank you to everyone who has turned up for this vigil.

This is heartbreaking. These are the two dogs who were murdered on Monday by the police.

When one of our supporters had met the two dogs on the tube recently (and taken these photos), their human companion had spoken of how much he adored the two and how soppy they were.

And just like that, they're gone - thanks to yet another abuse of power from the Met. After a weekend of stripping citizens of their human right to protest, this shooting of innocent dogs has angered thousands of us.

This isn't the future we want - for us, or for other animals. We deserve a kinder world than this.

Come together with us tomorrow at 8pm, to hold a candlelit vigil in memory of these two dogs killed by the police, and create a space to celebrate all life. 🐕🐄🐖🐎
