Full house when my co-founder presented how OAIZ can be used to orchestrate "agent swarms" at the latest AI Builders meetup in Malmö, and have them code autonomously!

In this case multiple claude code instances running in a server and reacting to slack threads, feedback, linear issues and more. They research, plan and ask questions back to humans (us) and develop end-2-end including writing tests and even recording videos of front-end work. Since its run on a server you don't need to have a laptop open and be limited to the hardware it has...

We had a working session at 𝗢𝗔𝗜𝗭 recently focused on improving our onboarding.

First, we spent a few hours debating the experience:
- where users get stuck
- what the ideal flow should look like
- what needed to change

Then we turned those ideas into structured initiatives in Linear (issue tracking), broke them into projects, and assigned owners for refinement.

After that, we used Claude Code and Cursor with the full context of our codebase to help refine the work further into manageable chunks and potential pull requests inside of Linear.

Then we made an important distinction:
- Which parts of the work need 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗷𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻?
- Which parts are well-scoped enough for an 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁?

The agent-ready tasks get assigned to 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝟱.

That kicks off full virtual machines with our development environment, and 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝟱 starts working through the tasks directly in our workflow.

It lives inside Linear, moves issues forward, and helps keep momentum on the board while the rest of us focus on the harder problems.

So what is dev5?

We are 4 developers.

𝗱𝗲𝘃𝟱 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗵.

It’s built on the 𝗢𝗔𝗜𝗭 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺, integrated with our tools, and designed to operate as part of the team.

𝗪𝗲 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘂𝘀𝗲.

But it has become one of the clearest examples of what this platform makes possible:

not just AI that answers questions, but AI that can participate in real work.

Here is a unlisted/not-public onboarding tutorial take. The agent created a slightly flawed workflow in this video this is why. So will redo it this week as we improve our generation.

So yes scientists did the wet-lab and treatment work. But the point is the combo: AI + genomics + mRNA. Something like that. But yes, I tried a maybe too clickbaity meme-image-approach that obviously worked to spark emotions :'D. But, more GPUs doing Alpha Fold and other ML in the field still holds true.

An article is going around saying a tech founder used ChatGPT / AI to create a cancer vaccine for his dying dog

The headline is obviously simplified

But the important part seems true

A person with enough urgency and technical skill used AI + genomics + researchers to get to a bespoke treatment fast

And the dog apparently got better

That matters a lot

Because the future is not: "AI replaces scientists"

It’s more like

one motivated person can get much further much faster
AI helps navigate insane scientific complexity
labs can turn that into actual interventions

That is a very big deal

Not because it’s a perfect story

Because it shows the shape of what’s coming :)

Super easy OAuth setup so you can start chatting with your integrations

But the real thing is chatting your way into autonomous repeatable workflows that execute tasks across systems

Not just ad hoc analysis
not just “answer this once”

More like

- define once
- review it
- test it
- then let it run again and again

Example: hyper personalized engagement emails from PostHog data

or auto create issues / PRs when PostHog surfaces problems

Also once AI starts operating systems security matters way more

For the past year we’ve been building something quietly.
