Man muss sich das mal vorstellen. In Deutschland wird die Abschaffung eines gesetzlichen Feiertages für 46 Mio. Erwerbstätige ernsthaft eher diskutiert, als die Abschaffung des Dieselprivilegs für 14 Mio. Dieselfahrer. Beides würde dem Staat rund 8 Mrd. Euro/Jahr einbringen. Das sei jetzt „als Symbol“ wichtig heißt es. Gegenvorschlag: Wie wäre es, wenn wir ganz symbolisch einfach die 30,8 Mrd. Euro an klimaschädlichen Subventionen im Verkehrsbereich abschaffen, bevor wir darüber nachdenken, Mio. Arbeitnehmer:innen das Leben noch schwerer zu machen?
