Everyone knows that a two-state solution would involve an Arab-only Palestine alongside a multiethnic Israel with a sizable Arab minority with full citizenship. Yet we're supposed to believe that Israel is the racist apartheid ethnostate. As ever, hatred of Israel is subrational.
I'm sure Israel already understands very well that it can kill thousands of Hezbollah field soldiers, drone operators and commanders in southern Lebanon, but at the end of the day nothing hurts Hezbollah more than when it is targeted in the heart of Beirut. Israel should focus on Beirut, and ignore the Americans if they resist. There isn't a war in the last 50 years that Americans fought with the sole purpose of winning. They do not know how to win. And that's ok for them, they're a superpower after all. If they don't win a few distant wars, they'll still remain a superpower. But for a tiny country like Israel that's located in such a tough region, there's no other option but to decisively win every war. A decisive victory is reachable in Lebanon - but it will only come if Israel ignores the Americans and the French and instead listens to its basic instinct.
As the Jewish state, Israel cherishes and upholds the Jewish values of tolerance and mutual respect between Jews and worshippers of all faiths. All religions flourish in our land and we view members of all faiths as equals in building our society and region.
Yesterday, like the overwhelming majority of Israelis, I was stunned and saddened to learn that an IDF soldier damaged a Catholic religious icon in southern Lebanon. I condemn the act in the strongest terms. Military authorities are conducting a criminal probe of the matter and will take appropriately harsh disciplinary action against the offender.
While Christians are being slaughtered in Syria and Lebanon by Muslims, the Christian population in Israel thrives unlike elsewhere in the Middle East. Israel is the only country in the region that the Christian population and standard of living is growing. Israel is the only place in the Middle East that adheres to freedom of worship for all. We express regret for the incident and for any hurt this has caused to believers in Lebanon and around the world.
🗣️ 'It should be obvious that supporting Israel, Ukraine and the people of Iran is the right thing to do. Why, then, are so many so compromised?'

.@SpeakerJohnson: "Iran is firing almost seemingly indiscriminately... They're trying to test our resolve, and the idea that there's some members of this legislative body that would play along with that plays right into the hands of the enemy — and I think it's shameful."
If media reports are true that there is a consideration of allowing Iran to have very small enrichment of uranium for face-saving purposes: screw that.
This regime is made up of religious Nazis that are the largest state sponsor of terrorism. The regime has American blood on its hands and they have killed over 30,000 of their citizens simply because they demand the end to their oppression.
I could care less about efforts to save face for this regime. I would like to see the people of Iran change the regime – it’s long overdue.
I hope help is on the way.
I’ve been saying for years that U.S. military aid to Israel does more for America’s self-interest than Israel’s. All the people calling for aid to be cut off (plus Biden using the threat of a cut off as a stick to keep Israel from defending itself) has persuaded Israel it needs to build its own self-sufficient arms industry, which will likely be competitive with America in the global economy for everything other than jets and larger ships.
