@MeganShersby Horseshoe crabs! I spent all four of my undergrad studying their behavior and learning. They are really important animals for the environmental systems they live in and for human medicine but as inverts have been commonly overlooked in scientific literature and public knowledge!

This past Thursday I successfully defended my undergraduate thesis, The Ecological Implications of Maze Learning in Horseshoe Crabs, Limulus polyphemus.

I am so proud and grateful for reaching this milestone and so excited for what the future of my research career holds!
