Dylan Briggs of Middletown North was poised to breakout in 2023, and that’s exactly what he did. The multi sport All-Shore center fielder finished in the top 10 at the Shore in batting average posting a .461 average over 78 at bats.

Briggs lone home run came against cross town rival Middletown South in the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group III semi finals. He holds a hot bat, but what makes Briggs exceptional is his quality centerfield play that keeps opposing runs off the board. As a senior outfielder, the Lions have a seasoned leader returning to one of the deepest teams in the conference.
