I'm lost - why is there a good deal of hate for using the letter 'i' in naming loop variables within a for loop? 🤔

To me, 'i' is short for 'index', and in a for loop, the loop variable references simply an index.

Which of these is preferred?

@csturner88 Definitely still use it. It's like saying 'Mhm' to mean yes. Everyone knows it and acknowledges its meaning.

There shouldn't be a problem then.

If I had to start completely over again and learn to code I would learn HTML, CSS, Javascript, React, SQL & Java.
