To everyone who stepped forward to join this movement with me: you believed that something better was possible and that belief is not wrong.
Thank you.
BREAKING: Just five minutes before Trump's announcement to halt the attacks on Iran, massive trades reportedly hit the market.
In one move, $1.5 billion in S&P 500 (ES) futures was bought while $192 million in oil (CL) futures was sold.
These orders were 4–6x larger than anything else at the time.
The trader seemingly made huge gains.
Unusual.
I’m proud to have @RoKhanna on our side.
We’re anti-war, anti-Epstein class, and pro-working class.
This is our moment to win a new era in NY-21. Join us: https://t.co/P4BSpyH7DA
We were robbed of healthcare and hospital funding to send more bombs abroad, and now we’re paying $4.25/gallon in @EliseStefanik’s district.
I’m the pro-worker, anti-war Democrat running to replace her.
End the war. Tax the rich. Put our families first.
BREAKING: The White House is out with a new National Policy framework for AI.
The proposal says: "States should not be permitted to regulate AI development."
It also says that states shouldn't be able to penalize AI companies when people break the law with their models.
This house party was a special one because Greenfield is where my dad worked as the elementary school principal for over 20 years. Former teachers, parents, and students all coming together and growing this movement with us.
My dad taught me to believe in every single person’s potential. If you had Mr. Hewitt, if your kids went to Greenfield, or if you just know someone who did — then you know I was raised to lead with that same commitment and that I’ll never be a Congressman who questions your self-worth.
Just to be clear, what we reported is that the *Pentagon* is asking the White House to propose $200 billion for the Iran war supplemental. This is not the same as the White House proposing it. On that q, we have to see
In the richest country in the world, no one should go without the care they deserve. I'm running for Congress to fight for Medicare for All and give Annie, Orrie, Kim, and every family like theirs a life of dignity.
When I started this campaign, a doctor told me something I haven't been able to shake: their patients would rather die at home than drive over an hour to get care. 🧵
About 1 in 3 U.S. adults say they’ve made trade-offs to afford health care in the past year, including rationing or skipping medications or borrowing money, according to a poll from West Health-Gallup. https://t.co/ALaG8LjqHO
SCOOP: The Pentagon asked the White House today for more than *$200 billion* for the Iran war supplemental, sources say
Some White House aides think Congress won't support b/c it's so big
Will tee up giant battle in Congress
Business as usual won’t cut it. This is our moment to organize working families across Upstate New York and fight for universal childcare, Medicare for All, and safe housing.
I’m proud to have Citizen Action of New York in that fight. Join us at https://t.co/P4BSpyH7DA!
We deserve a leader who actually believes in our self-worth and will fight for our freedom.
It’s why I’m running to break up corporate power in Washington and finally take on the monopolies squeezing the North Country.
I’m grateful to have the Saratoga County Young Democrats in this fight with us.
We deserve a new generation of leaders who will stop using our tax dollars to fund another forever war and start investing in young working families here at home.
When Elise Stefanik voted to gut Medicaid, she knew NY-21 hospitals would be pushed closer to the brink. If we want hospitals to survive here, we need to break up the healthcare monopolies and guarantee stable funding for rural care. We shouldn’t lose our care while corporate health systems and insurance companies rake in billions.
In the past few weeks, Rochester Regional has cut 40 jobs from our hospitals. Last month, North Star Alliance laid off more than 100 workers in Ogdensburg — and now they’ve filed for bankruptcy. These aren’t just numbers. They’re our family, friends, and neighbors we depend on. And our hospitals are hanging on by a thread.
