Dlaczego Niemcy mogą mieć Oktoberfest, a w Polsce trzeba zarżnąć festiwale piwne?
Getting slightly concerned about my drinking habits. Yesterday I had two beers at a brewery then got a six pack to-go, with the plan of drinking 1-2 more at home. This morning I realized I had forgotten about them and they were still in my car.
Few days ago I poured an ipa in a glass in the evening and just forgot about it halfway. Left it on the piano.
Sometimes wife will open a bottle of wine for us to drink and without thinking about it I’ll just hang out not drinking until I pass out and go to bed.
I know it’s not a big deal but you have to keep an eye on it because that’s how it starts. Before you realize it you find yourself not drinking at all.
No film on 1916 Rising.
No film on Brian Boru
No major film on any Irish Saint
No film on 1798
But they rush to churn out this self hating propaganda slop based on an unfounded conspiracy theory to demoralise the Irish people.
Absolute filth. Everyone involved are pure scum.
Sleeping Nude (1934), Zinaida Serebriakova.
1930s critics called it boring domestic art.
They missed the point.
Serebriakova wasn't painting for the male gaze.
Broke after the Russian Revolution, she couldn't afford models, so she painted her daughter Katya on the family bed.
It later sold at Sotheby’s for over £580,000.
History proved the critics wrong.
Carl Jung once said that the strongest passion in humans is not hunger, sex or power, although these are quite strong; the very strongest passion is laziness. The longer I study human beings, the more I am inclined to agree.
Laziness is the strongest passion.
