@PaulJohnDykes I’d be really interested to know if you think there is any universe in which CalMac takes over as Player/Manager á la Ruud Gullit at Chelsea back many moons ago? Maybe the only person who can sit him down is himself?
@PaulJohnDykes@ACSOMPOD You get a much better view from behind the play, but when you see the way curls his foot in order to control the flight of the ball and place it within a postage stamp of the frame of the goal. IMO, he has already secured CL goal of the season.
@PaulJohnDykes@ACSOMPOD This is one of those Simpsons moments. Like when Homer is judging the film festival. “Barney’s movie was good, but ‘Football in the Groin’ had football in the groin!” What I mean to say is, Nygren’s goal was infinitely superior. The technique was genius.
@PaulJohnDykes Great show today. Things seem more positive now going in to the weekend, but the team still needs strengthening. Highlight of the show, Yogi: “If I see a helicopter in a tree, I know something’s not right!” 🤣 He must be in Crossmaglen!
@PaulJohnDykes Haven’t you heard Paul John, they have a replacement lined up and ready to go. It’s…
…wait for it…
…it’s another kit. Yep, another jersey and some bath salts. Merch wins Championships.
@PaulJohnDykes The managers see it. Thats why they don’t hang around. I think BR can be absolved for both his departures. I’m pretty sure Ange was thinking exactly the same thing. The Club have no intention of matching the ambition of the manager, ever. MON gone by Christmas. Watch that space!
@PaulJohnDykes Any other industry - and I mean absolutely any other industry - and there would be a clear out. P45s for the whole lot of them. It seems to have become the ‘norm’. Zero consequence for poor - actually, for appalling - performance and inaction.
