I've officially fully switched to Mastodon for all my microblogging needs. I check this account about once a month to make sure it still exists, but that's about it.
If you want to find me, i'm on @scicomm.xyz, username @dylanwre

Experimenting with the switch to @joinmastodon. Some thoughts:
It is messier than Twitter. No bones about it. Lots of different interoperable instances to interconnect.
But, it's supposed to be. Feature not bug.
The centrality of Twitter necessitates centralizing power.

@scikoop was working on something similar.
10 companies, @thesgconline and @TheNeuro_MNI launched @YCharOS1 as a public service to screen for high-quality, renewable, commercial reagent antibodies, using knock-out cells an controls. Perhaps not "innovative", but important nonetheless.
