La phrase est belle parce qu'elle résume parfaitement l'erreur économique fondamentale de la gauche : "un système qui veut concentrer toute la richesse dans les mains de quelques-uns". Cette phrase suppose que la richesse est un gâteau fixe. Une quantité finie. Si quelqu'un en prend plus, les autres en ont forcément moins. Si Bezos est riche, c'est forcément qu'il a volé les pauvres.

C'est faux. C'est la chose la plus fausse qu'on puisse croire en économie. Et c'est de là que vient toute l'erreur.

La richesse n'est pas un gâteau qui se partage. Elle se crée. Un boulanger qui produit du pain ne prend rien à personne. Il ajoute du pain au monde. Avant lui : pas de pain. Après lui : du pain. Le monde est plus riche, lui est plus riche, ses clients sont plus rassasiés. Personne n'a perdu. Tout le monde a gagné.

C'est la différence entre un échange marchand (jeu à somme positive : les deux parties gagnent, sinon elles n'échangeraient pas) et un vol (jeu à somme nulle : ce que l'un gagne, l'autre le perd). Le capitalisme repose sur l'échange. Le communisme, sur la redistribution forcée, donc sur le vol.

Maintenant les chiffres. Parce que ce n'est pas une opinion, c'est de l'arithmétique historique.

En 1820, 94% de l'humanité vivait dans la pauvreté, 84% dans la pauvreté extrême (moins d'un dollar par jour). Aujourd'hui, la pauvreté extrême mondiale est tombée à environ 9%. C'est la donnée la plus extraordinaire de l'histoire humaine. En 200 ans, on est passés de 9 personnes sur 10 dans la misère absolue, à moins d'1 sur 10.

Sur les 35 dernières années seulement, 117 000 personnes sortent de la pauvreté extrême chaque jour. Tous les jours. Depuis 1990. Soit plus d'1,5 milliard de personnes au total. C'est l'équivalent de 25 fois la population française sortie de la misère absolue en une génération.

Qu'est-ce qui a fait ça ? Pas l'aide humanitaire. Pas les ONG. Pas l'État. La croissance économique. Donc le capitalisme. Donc l'échange marchand qui crée de la richesse là où il n'y en avait pas.

Les deux pays qui ont contribué le plus à ce miracle sont la Chine et l'Inde. Tous les deux étaient communistes ou socialistes. Tous les deux étaient parmi les pays les plus pauvres du monde. Tous les deux ont décidé dans les années 70-80 de basculer vers l'économie de marché. Résultat : 800 millions de Chinois et plusieurs centaines de millions d'Indiens sortis de la pauvreté en 40 ans.

Le communisme a maintenu ces pays dans la misère. Le capitalisme les en a sortis. C'est un fait. Pas une opinion.

Donc la réalité inverse exactement ta phrase. Le capitalisme ne concentre pas la richesse dans les mains de quelques-uns. Il en crée tellement, partout, que même les plus pauvres deviennent moins pauvres. Bezos est riche, ET le Bangladais moyen mange aujourd'hui mieux qu'un roi du XVIIIe siècle. Les deux sont vrais en même temps. C'est ça que tu dois comprendre.

Le communisme, lui, ne crée pas de richesse. Il redistribue celle qui existe déjà, en attendant qu'il n'y en ait plus du tout. C'est pour ça qu'il finit toujours par produire de la pauvreté généralisée. Pas par accident. Mécaniquement. Quand tu casses le système qui crée la richesse, il ne reste qu'à partager la misère.

Le Venezuela hier prospère est aujourd'hui un pays où on mange les chiens. Cuba après 65 ans de socialisme a un PIB par habitant inférieur à celui de la République Dominicaine voisine. La Corée du Nord la nuit est un trou noir sur les images satellites à côté d'une Corée du Sud illuminée. Ce n'est pas un détail. C'est la démonstration empirique répétée cent fois.

Donc si tu veux vraiment aider les pauvres, tu dois vouloir plus de capitalisme, pas moins. Plus d'échange libre. Plus d'entreprenariat. Plus de propriété privée. Plus de marché. Pas par amour des riches, par compassion pour les pauvres. C'est le seul système qui les sort durablement de la misère.

Tu peux vérifier toutes les données ci-dessus. Banque mondiale, Our World in Data, Maddison Project. Aucune n'est contestée. C'est juste qu'on te les a cachées, parce qu'elles détruisent le récit qu'on t'a vendu à l'école, à l'université, dans les médias.

Maintenant tu sais. La question n'est plus "qu'est-ce que tu crois". Elle est "qu'est-ce que tu fais avec ce que tu sais désormais".
