Nicole, I hope they are also talking about some bigger changes as well. For about 100 years New Year's Day has been College football's day. If the College Football National Championship game were on New Year's day, I bet viewership would be off the chart. Here is my solution. Start the regular season two weeks earlier with the Army/Navy game kicking off the regular season. (Middle of August) Go to a 16-team playoff and start the playoffs Thanksgiving weekend, and have the national championship game on January 1st every year.
