The proof that strike action is necessary is in the fact that on the strike day, most teachers will inevitably end up either doing some work, or catching up with life admin stuff that we never have time for during term time.

No teacher wants to be on strike tomorrow. We enjoy teaching. That's why we do it. But we can't go on getting progressively poorer. We can't go on letting essential support for pupils disappear. We can't go on watching colleagues leave the profession due to stress. We just can't.
