@Max____Stone@markbland And just what has he done to make America great? Increase cost of living? Denounce science making him the laughing stock of the world? How about consuming huge quantities of Aspirin?
@bagittagit530@MikeHudema Yes CO2 is needed for plant life. We exist because of the small amount in the atmosphere. But adding more will not lead to more plants. It is now leading to wide scale destruction of plants and agriculture in many places, and will get worse. Nice thought but completely false.
@pickle1952@MikeHudema Sure, good point concerning an extreme event, which we know are increasing. But there isn’t snow everywhere, like in India and the entire tropical world. We in Canada get plenty of snow in the winter. But we generate from mostly renewables. And it needs to improve.
@dom155rich1@MikeHudema Where are you getting your data? Wind and solar are now the cheapest by far and will only continue to improve. And reliable large scale energy storage is now available and will only improve. If all we need fossil fuels is at night, much better than now. But winds keep blowing.
@Coach_Brankle@MikeHudema Yes too, modern nuclear is also part of the answer but it takes so kind to implement and is very costly, burdens which are important to consider. But don’t hold back solar and wind. We must go at it all full throttle.
@Coach_Brankle@MikeHudema Yes I can tell you that wind and solar are definitely a big part of the solution. How can you even compare the inputs? Sun/wind vs mined fossil fuels and all that that entails. Solar and wind are hands down winners.
@dafalgoutDennis@MikeHudema Present one piece of research showing that carbon emissions are not the cause of the climate crisis or shut up. Maybe you should go back to high school and learn something, including basic physics.
@Hobb1975@MikeHudema What are you saying? First get your history right. Human life on Earth is dependent on a stable and reliable climate. We don’t back millions of years with our type of life and civilization. The climate crisis is new to us and there is plenty of evidence. There is no scam, but you
@thegoodlife888@MikeHudema You are certainly right about the need to adapt NOW! But also we must continue to mitigate and reduce carbon emissions or the day will come soon where adaptation isn’t feasible for large amounts of humanity. There is already great suffering from the climate crisis and it worsens.
@Rob66733000@MikeHudema How can you say that? Any look at the charts you post clearly shows that the US/Europe/Japan are ALSO clearly part of the problem. It is not just China and India. China is showing great effort to reduce emissions though much more is needed. What is the US government doing?
@emrey35@MacFarlaneNews What do you mean who knew? Any leader worth just 10 cents even would have vetted each one of them. And how abusive it is to even consider such a pardon of criminals in the first place, let alone execute it. Terrible
@Fatesblind@MacFarlaneNews Yes and Trump should be held liable, including for abuse of power. Let’s hope the GOP, for blindly backing him at every turn, is held accountable in upcoming midterms.
