@Shagdy07 @Pshiku1864 Forget about Atatürk. Most Circassians don't actually know about the Ottoman's role and schemes before and during the Russo-Circassian war. The Ottomans (and Tatars) were the main destabilizing factors in Abkhazia and Circassia.

@SydienS @Stanisegz First of all, the Ottoman Empire was at war in 1864 and it had to protect its borders and especially its railroads regardless. They exempted them from taxes because they placed them in the middle of nowhere which is something that many states do, even today.

I have never in my life met a Circassian who would say something like this or put the word Abkhaz in quotation marks. Only Georgians do that.

@rinytze @Tscherkessien The fact that you're apparently from Turkey actually makes it very suspicious, because despite all the flaws that Ciracssians from Turkey have, they are usually very, very close to Abkhazians. In fact, most of them don't even know that our languages differ quite a bit.
