With the cost of living rising, I expect to see more people turning to a second income with not only a second job but also setting up small businesses or working self employed on the side.

This will be a real problem in March 2023 when the government increased the minimum wage. As well as the minimum wage increase, small businesses won't be able to afford the increase of inflation that workers are demanding.

Working in procurement for a small business, I've seen the damage that late payments cause. SME's rely on honest payments to not only survive but to pay staff. It's great @UKGovTweets are pushing this but finance teams should have the morals to pay promptly.

This doesn't surprise me. With @amazonprime offering free next day delivery, @shopify merchants need to keep up with customer demand. Free shipping also increases CRO so it's a win-win. I'd guess the companies that don't offer it are a higher weight or have high insurance costs.
