@WerkHCN He was also wishy-washy in the rest of his answer to play dates. Why isn’t his messaging consistent with Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer when she says “stay at home. Only go out when necessary”? This mixed messaging is dangerous for the @cityofhamilton
I can't understand why in #HamOnt where there are at least two KNOWN community transmissions of #covid19 they keeping the "know someone with or travel somewhere" limitation? Why not: if you are having known covid19 symptoms + referred as likely? Are we short of tests, already?
Appreciate the #HamOnt town hall but it is dangerous for Dr. Harvey to be saying that kids can share toys and have 2 meter play dates. The Health Minister has said EVERYONE should be staying home when possible. Why isn’t the @cityofhamilton ? #HamiltonOntario
@cityofhamilton@FredEisenberger , Hamiltons messaging must be consistent with the prime ministers, minister of health and the chief public health officer and that is to STAY AT HOME. Dr. Harvey is giving very mixed messaging! 2/2
@cityofhamilton@FredEisenberger , I appreciate the town hall but it is dangerous when Dr. Harvey is not saying that people need to stay home right now even if they’re not sick. He did not once mention that people can still be infectious with no symptoms. 1/2
