Hey there ! Small (Big ?) update for #HTRUnited !
We worked very hard in the last couple weeks to make some new tools, and, with @alix_tz we are happy to present the new HTR United @github Actions configuration generator (that's a mouthful !)

Time to talk a little about my PhD, which I submitted a week ago now... I'll present some (there are others) "technical" products of my research.
💭 First, my PhD thesis is about detecting automatically sexual content in classical and Late Latin (up until ~ 800 CE) 1/9
New Style Revisited Seminar the 24/01@14:00 on Zoom! In the next session we will have two presentation on 1) how to make use of the notion of style and 2) digital methods for morphological/stylistic characterization of architectural shapes! Read/Register: https://t.co/ScLZ4CHgjg

We are waiting for your proposals !

Happy to announce to Parisian collegues that 16/11 at 14:00 I will be giving a talk on the possibilities opened by data modelling/integration for the analysis of images at @INHA_Fr workshop «La fabrique de l’art: utilisation des données matérielles en histoire de l’art» 1/3
@Jbcamps Or, like @HumanisticaDH does, doing exactly the opposite: the local conference is held on another continent, so that there is always a conference not « too » far
@Jbcamps I am torn, I have to say… I clearly see the advantage, but after a year and a half lost in my mountains, I really see a limit to online attendance. But I really think that holding several events at the same time (DH+TEI for instance) is a first answer
@Jbcamps This is promoting centralisation rather federalism… it is waaaaay easier when you live in a big city, and working in a prestigious institution. No? (I get your point, but…)
Have you seen the CFP for DH2022 already? We're looking forward to receiving many of your proposals. Below is a thread on the past ADHO conventions that might be useful for historicizing how the field has evolved. Feel free to add your experiences via reply.
Are you interested in improving large multilingual language models?
