Officer Paul Stallberg, a veteran and respected deputy sheriff in Brazoria County, Texas, passed away in September 2026 after battling an aggressive illness (cancer).

Stallberg dedicated more than 11 years to the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office following nearly nine years of service in the United States Army. His service, friendship and impact on the Brazosport community will not be forgotten.
