Really excited to share this piece of work which has been in the making for many years. It was an immense collaborative effort between clinicians, psychologists and neuroscientists, and also one of the core projects I contributed to since my early days at Imperial College.
We present an observational study where we use our bespoke computerised cognitive testing tasks to assess cognition in a traumatic brain injury (TBI) patient population.
We illustrate that online cognitive assessment of TBI patients is feasible, sensitive, and efficient. When combined with normative sociodemographic models and autogenerated reports, it has the potential to transform cognitive assessment in the healthcare setting.

We show that this binding disruption occurs transiently during a period of #PTA and is associated with a shift towards lower frequency power on #EEG. These findings provide mechanistic insight into PTA and working memory binding failures following TBI.
Information about how an object appears and where it is in space must be bound together to form a complete representation in memory. The ability to bind the ‘what’ and the ‘where’ can be temporarily disrupted after #TBI and may be due to electrophysiological changes in the brain.
