Kenyan mountaineers Swabra Swaleh Breik Swabra Swaleh Breik and Daniel Moenga Daniel Moenga are among hundreds of climbers from around the world attempting Mt. Manaslu (8,163 m) during Nepal’s ongoing Autumn 2026 climbing season.

The two Kenyans have successfully completed their acclimatization rotation on the world’s eighth-highest mountain and are now preparing for their final summit push. For now, however, heavy snowfall has halted summit attempts on Manaslu, forcing climbers to wait for improved weather and safer conditions before moving higher.
