I recommend following @SawyerMerritt and @TheGigaCast to stay up to date with Tesla as the stock price is going to be a wild ride for the next couple months and probably the foreseeable future
it’s honestly insane how much of the modern tech tree has been unlocked because of a single guy
thanks to Elon we have
- online payments
- mass market electric cars
- batteries and grid-scale energy storage
- self driving cars and robotaxis
- humanoid robots
- advanced brain computer interfaces
- next generation tunneling
- reusable rockets
-global satellite internet
- basically the modern space industry
- Moon and Mars transportation
- orbital compute and space data centers
- frontier AI
- gigantic AI supercomputers
- physical world AI
and the wildest part is that these branches are now starting to merge
there is a very real chance that this one guy ends up being the reason humanity reaches Kardashev II
genuinely the man of the millennium

Starship is going to completely transform Earth-to-Earth travel
Instead of spending 8, 10 or 12 hours crossing the planet in a commercial aircraft, Starship’s point-to-point system is designed to send passengers above most of the atmosphere and across Earth in roughly half an hour
The proposed travel times are wild:
• Los Angeles → New York: 25 min
• Bangkok → Dubai: 27 min
• Tokyo → Singapore: 28 min
• London → New York: 29 min
• New York → Paris: 30 min
• Sydney → Singapore: 31 min
• Los Angeles → London: 32 min
• London → Hong Kong: 34 min
Here’s how it works...
Launch from one side of Earth, accelerate into a suborbital trajectory, coast across the planet at enormous speed, then descend and land near the destination
A journey that normally consumes most of your day could become shorter than many people’s daily commute
Starship is being built for orbit, the Moon and Mars
But the same vehicle will eventually redefine how humans travel across Earth too
From crossing oceans in hours to crossing the planet in minutes
Tesla’s charging network just had a massive quarter
69 MILLION charging sessions in Q3 alone
That means Tesla delivered:
• 2.4 TWh of energy
• 2,700 new Supercharger stalls
• 1.1B liters of gasoline avoided
• 4.4B kg of CO₂e avoided
• 7.0 GWh consumed by Robotaxi
And the network itself grew 15% YoY, while energy delivered and charging sessions both jumped 29%
The interesting part is that the same charging infrastructure is now supporting both Tesla’s vehicle fleet and its growing Robotaxi operation
This only get's even more massive from here

This is fake news at its finest.
First off, we’re not ‘banning’ any program. The federal government doesn’t set curriculum or programs.
Here’s the truth: we are holding colleges accountable for leaving students worse off than if they never enrolled. Too many graduates report delaying major life milestones like buying a home or starting a family. Why? Because low return-on-investment programs saddled them with unmanageable debt that was never going to translate into a real-world job.
Federal student loans are not a welfare program for failing college programs. American students deserve education and training pathways that prepare them for the workforce – and transparency about programs that will never pay off.
Anthropic just revealed a massive AI compute agreement with SpaceX
The deal involves up to $84.5 BILLION in compute commitments through 2029
Anthropic is tapping into SpaceX’s Colossus AI infrastructure, showing how valuable large-scale compute has become in the AI race
The future of AI is not just about better models....it’s about who can build the massive infrastructure underneath them
SpaceX is building the backbone of AI infrastructure.....an advantage built on massive compute, power and infrastructure
Roadster event update
We've been tracking the weather closely with local meteorologists, but given the severe conditions predicted & because this event can only be held outdoors, we've made the difficult decision to reschedule.
New date is October 15. Additional details to follow
SpaceX has released a new blog post about Starship’s 14th flight today.
“During Starship’s ascent burn, a single Raptor vacuum engine shut down early. Starship still achieved its planned, passively safe suborbital trajectory by burning its remaining five engines for longer than planned to compensate for the loss of thrust.
After entering its suborbital trajectory, the flight control team assessed Starship’s systems and determined the three sea-level Raptors engines needed for subsequent burns were healthy and gave a “go” for orbital operations. Starship then reignited a single Raptor sea-level engine to perform an orbit insertion burn and entered into orbit around Earth for the first time.
After a brief coast, Starship then deployed all 26 Starlink V3 satellites. Contact was made soon after with every satellite over laser links, ground stations, and Starlink user terminals. The satellites will now conduct on-orbit checkouts and raise their orbits before they begin serving customers.
Following payload deploy, Starship entered into a coast phase around Earth. Out of an abundance of caution given the engine issue experienced during ascent, the flight control team decided to limit the duration spent on orbit and proceeded with deorbiting Starship to a splashdown location in the northern Pacific Ocean. This area was one of two pre-coordinated landing zones identified before launch that was cleared of sea and air traffic.
Starship then relit a single Raptor sea-level engine and performed its first ever deorbit burn. That maneuver successfully brought the vehicle out of orbit and sent Starship through atmospheric reentry and descent to the intended splashdown point.
The first orbital Starship flight concluded with the vehicle relighting all three Raptor sea-level engines in a landing burn and flip maneuver before splashing down on target in the Pacific Ocean.”
