Big up these two heroes, Mohsin Qayyum and Mohammed Yusuf Iqbal.
They rescued an elderly couple and their grandchild from a house fire in Leeds on Friday.
The couple’s granddaughter also confirmed the story and thanked them for their bravery, and another guy called Ben Russell
Corporate greed is Tim Cook, the billionaire Apple CEO, claiming that hiking prices on Apple products by over $200 is "unavoidable" after it made $112 billion in profits last year & spent $310 billion on stock buybacks.
These price hikes aren't unavoidable. They're unacceptable.
@Seansfanclub Sorry to hear about your stroke Linda. Hope you start to feel better soon and your recovery should improve better at home 🤞 take it you have a care package in place to help?
If you are worried about
Benefit Fraud £0.5bn but not Government Corruption £219bn.
Immigration £2bn but not Tax Havens £150bn.
Junior Doctors pay rises £1.3bn but not Bankers tax cuts £7.3bn.
You‘re buying their lies.
Alistair Campbell after the 2016 Brexit referendum,
"Just shocked that we've made such a catastrophically stupid decision. And the world is looking on thinking: didn't you used to be a serious country?"
"I also think there's a lot of buyers remorse"
"On my way here.. A woman said she felt bad for voting leave. I asked: why did you do that then?"
"And she said: I didn't realise that if you voted leave you'd have to leave"
"And you think: oh my god"
"All these people who fell for these lies"
"It's a catastrophe and we're only at the beginning of the consequences playing out"
Well here it is folks. Steve Clarke’s record for Scotland at tournaments.
Two of these games were even at Hampden Park!
It’s pretty abysmal stuff.
I think he has to go.
@SirNotTomFarmer But yet we give him as 4 year deal when his track record at tournaments is terrible. He needs to shoulder the blame for his team selections, decision making and the likes of taking Tyler Fletcher was a disgraceful call up. Jobs for the boys typical Scottish football!!
Josh Simons MP who vacated his Makerfield constituency for Burham, was a cabinet minister until he resigned after revelations that he had hired a reputation management firm to “proactively undermine” journalistic investigations into 'Labour Together'.
RT till the smell goes.
😡 "It's not good enough... grow up!"
❌ "I don't speak to people like that! Don't behave like that!
@Shebahn takes aim at Steve Clarke for his post-Brazil comments as she reacts to Scotland facing an early World Cup exit! 😤
#FIFAWorldCup
@JimSpenceDundee Disagree as Broadwood football pitches are full all summer with kids kicking a ball about.
Scottish football is crap due to the pro youth system which is full of ‘who you know’ or ex footballers kids and not talented street kids. And it should be fun not as serious from age 10!
Welcome to the UK where you're:
Taxed on the money that you work for
Taxed on the things you buy
Taxed on the money you save
Taxed on what you sell
Taxed when you buy a house with already taxed money
Taxed on making profit on investments with money that's already been taxed
Taxed when you're dead.
This country is a joke.
Andy Burnham not even warmed the seat in Parliament & already its come out he gave his wife a 4 million contract for EV vehicles.
How much more corruption do we have to put up with?
Meet James Purnell. Andy Burnham's chief of staff.
He supported Iraq invasion; ex chair of Labour Friends of Israel; said that Winter Fuel Allowance and free bus passes should not be sacred; supported PFI, lie-detector tests for benefit claimants.
Next?

I will love, support and cheer on Scotland as much as anyone but what a farce this 2026 World Cup is. We could be utterly pumped by Brazil tomorrow night - 5-0, 6-0 - and still “go through” after one goal in three matches and sticking by our strict aversion to attacking football.
I’m not sure this quite qualifies as “succeeding where every previous Scotland team at a World Cup has failed.”
It is more than a mite preposterous.
There is a lot of myth-making about Starmer's leadership, much of it unchallenged.
It is hard to support the claim Starmer 'saved the Labour party' when he got 560,000 votes fewer than Corbyn in 2019.
2024 was a Tory collapse, not a Labour surge.
