Denominational churches and religions have been the norm, but they are proving insufficient for God's purposes and plans in the coming hour.
God is calling for unity, because a people divided cannot stand. (The antichrist is already constructing his sinister plan for unity which will deceive many.)
It was persecution that drove the church into a four-walled, manmade construct that has fractured uncontrollably over millennia. It will be persecution of this institutional church and a deep spiritual longing for reconciliation with God that moves people back into the Spirit of God as one unified Body, transcending religious beliefs and former denominational boxes that have captured the Church.
(This move will be one in the direction of Life and one in the direction of death.) The temporal world is not as it would appear, the eternal will overshadow the real as we understand it.
This is where the importance of developing our relationship with the Holy Spirit is of utmost importance. People are going to be led astray.
God is getting ready to do a new thing. People can balk - and they will - but the Lord will gather His people from across all demarcation lines, transcending the wisdom of mankind. He will reveal it to His own. Those who oppose the change will ridicule it and dismiss it. But God will move forward, may His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
"Historically speaking, Jesus was not a scholar. He was an artisan and itinerant preacher from Galilee rather than an officially trained scholar, scribe, or rabbi. In fact, his lack of formal Judean schooling is what caused religious leaders of his day to marvel at his deep scriptural knowledge."
The Son of Man, the Son of God, a Carpenter, a Savior to mankind. No scholarly credentials or accolades from men needed.
And He changed the world forever.
"Of course, Jesus also did many other things, and I suppose that if every one of them were written down, the world couldn't contain the books that would be written."
"What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside." (1 Corinthians 5.12-13)
I'm not familiar with Kasemann, but it sounds right to me. Though I might say God uses us, the Body of Christ, as a witness to sinners. Jesus was present with sinners, so we have some part to play in spreading the gospel, we just don't get to execute judgement on those outside.
Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox believers are united in Christ. That unity, grounded in truth and love rather than politics, is essential to restoring the West.
The article is a good intentioned effort to focus the attention of a vast, multifaceted Body into points of unity.
And yet the author had to throw in 'Catholic means universal' which is not entirely true. These two words are not interchangeable. 'Catholic' wasn't even coined until 110AD....
We all have our biases that we push, even subtly. God is moving on the Body of Christ to parse out these superfluous layers that we might actually have unity within the Body. It's exciting and I'm looking forward to the Holy Spirit's work.
Who understands the origin of the word 'church' and can still claim it means what Christ intended it to mean?
Happy to see these types of articles tackling the subject of unity. We need more! The Body of Christ must wrestle with these issues and allow the Spirit to move us down to the foundations of Christ's work that the 'manifold wisdom of God' can understand how we are one.
@Narsgakk@Ayaan I would say the true Body of Christ does not have a religion and is not religious. So you are correct.
Religion is one of the seven mountains of society. And we all should know, the secular world is under the sway of the Prince of the Air in this present time.
Just learned that 13-year-old David Raymond, the sole survivor of the attack that claimed his entire family in Kawel village, Bokkos LGA, Plateau State on June 22, has succumbed to his injuries after fighting for his life for 18 days in the hospital 😭💔😭💔
In the early hours of Monday, June 22, 2026, 13-year-old David Raymond became one of the latest young victims of Christian persecution in Nigeria’s Plateau State. For 18 days, he fought for his life in a hospital bed, after surviving an AK-47 bullet that tore through his back and stomach, leaving his intestines exposed.
David survived an attack that wiped out his family because of their faith. While surgeons worked through sunrise to save him, his father, Raymond Maichibi, 40, and mother, Nanlop Raymond, 37, were laid to rest in a mass grave with 20 other Christians from their village. His relatives, devastated by the loss, could not find the strength to tell David that he was now an orphan till he passed around 1800hrs GMT on Friday July 10th.
Prior to his death, David recounted that he was asleep when armed assailants broke into their home in Kawel village, Mushere district, Bokkos LGA. “They came in the night,” he said from his hospital bed. “My father tried to protect me and they shot him. My mother was hiding in the bedroom when they shot her too. I ran, and they shot me in the back.” Though he did not see their faces, David recognized the Fulani dialect spoken by the attackers.
Equipping The Persecuted was exclusively responsible for his treatment, and did everything possible to save his life, but unfortunately, the injuries were too severe for him.
You can still help to cover his outstanding bills and support other survivors of the attack in Kawel and other parts of Nigeria’s north by visiting https://t.co/oDZGkFShRo and choosing a donation plan that works for you and your family.

So, an update on our challenge to the legacy universities: @petersonacademy.
First and most immediate: we are pleased to announce the release of our latest course, the Historical Reliability of the Bible, taught by none other than the great @WesleyLHuff, whose popularity as a podcast guest may (should) have made him familiar to you.
The trailer is super cool. It's well worth a minute of your time.
This course suits our broader purposes extremely well—our determination to showcase and promote what the modern universities have decided to abandon:
the greatness of the West;
the irreplaceable necessity of the free market;
the criminal catastrophe of Marxism;
the inestimable value and beauty of traditionally classic literature and art; and
absolutely unapologetically,
the treasure-house of our Judeo-Christian heritage.
I originally promised to produce a world class liberal arts bachelor's degree equivalent curriculum available to everyone for less than the cost of a single university course.
We're very near to delivering on that promise, with the more than 100 politically-incorrect 8-hour courses we have produced—and in a mere two and half years.
We have gathered the best lecturers in the world. We have produced their courses to a standard reached by no other comparable institution.
Our 60000 students are thrilled with our constantly improving platform and its widening social network.

God instructed Lot and his family to leave before His tribulations and wrath were unleashed. Many other people are giving add'l clear examples of a recurring theme that God does not leave His chosen to suffer His wrath. There will be a removal of His people from the earth before the bowls of wrath are poured out.
Personally I'm a mid-tribulation believer, we are already well into the Trumpet calls of this dispensation. In fact, they are coming to a close.
Revelation 7 shows Israel is sealed but also 'there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb' - these are the Gentiles and John said he didn't understand what he was seeing. 'Lord you know', and the answer was, 'These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."
Now this at least should bring pause to making any definitive statement about God not saving His elect from His wrath. Why would He subject His people to a fate He didn't subject Lot to? (Or Noah for that matter.) And Lot was not part of Christ's Body.
The Sadducees didn't believe in the resurrection of the dead or the living, much less a 'rapture'. But they are not seeing things clearly.
And look, there will be no end to biological humans God created in His image:) At least in the biblical text, there is no indication that we won't continue as a species after Revelation ends. At that point, those alive today will be New Creations with Christ, but humans will still be part of that cycle:
"The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it."
In Revelation 21.24 we see there are still kings 'of the earth' and nations to boot. Homo sapiens indeed will inherit this biological earth, as it is our rightful home and garden God created specifically for us.
Christ's Body will not suffer the wrath of God's judgements on the wicked in this earth described in Revelation.

"..all traditions at one point [in history] were modern..."
For real.
The argument of 'by faith alone' is answered when we understand that we are triune beings, created in God's image.
Our spirit is immediately reborn, reconciled to God coming into salvation through Christ >by faith<.
The Protestant side of the equation.
"Work out your own salvation" by the "washing of the water of the word"....this is the soul (the mind, will and emotion) of the human being. It does NOT get saved immediately and is an ongoing process. It is the symbolic flesh Paul says to crucify daily, putting to death the deeds of the flesh (old man).
This is the Catholic side of the equation.
The physical body moves in accordance with how renewed the mind is. If we aren't busy 'building up our spirit man' then the carnal takes over - this is where the works of the flesh can be good or bad fruit. And if one is saved, 'show me thy good works'.
The #byfaithalone argument is not a disagreement. We just don't seem to dig deep enough to see it's two sides of one whole.
Shame says hide. Jesus says come boldly.
Shame says your past defines you. Jesus says My finished work defines you.
The cross is proof that God’s response to your brokenness was not rejection, but rescue.
Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
My activities are still very limited at the moment. I have been doing some writing, however–thank God.
I'm so relieved to be once again doing something creative and useful.
I have also been watching Professor Paul Kengor's The Dark Side of Marxism from @petersonacademy.
It does not feature the Marx portrayed by the woke university socialist acolytes (to put it mildly).
I interviewed @DrPaulKengor a year ago or so ago on my podcast. He's a truly engaging, creative and witty storyteller and lecturer.
It turns out that Old Karl was quite the satanic soul.
He was a parasite economically all his life, extorting continual support from his long-suffering relatives.
He wrote (and admired) purposefully demonic poetry and drama.
Most disturbing, however, was his choice of favorite quote. From Goethe's Faust, it's a line I have quoted many times, in consequence of its sheer existential horror.
It's Mephistopheles presenting his identity and central credo:
“I am the Spirit that endlessly denies!
And rightly, too; for all that comes to birth
Is fit for overthrow, as nothing worth;
Wherefore the world were better sterilized;
Thus all that's here as Evil recognized
Is gain to me, and downfall, ruin, sin.
The very element I prosper in.”
I wonder if Zohran Mamdani @NYCMayor knows of the inclination of his apparent intellectual hero?
@jordanbpeterson@petersonacademy Ah! So dark. The antithesis of Life:
'be fruitful and multiply',
'what you sow you shall reap' (hard to do that if there's no life in the seed),
and 'I give LIFE, and that more abundantly'.
Marx was a Luciferian, anti-Christ, fullstop.
"You cannot optimize a soul." True.
All things will come under subjection to the one false god: "and why are technology companies attaining valuations that surpass those of entire countries?"
The trumpets are calling out, are we listening?
Silicon Valley is spending trillions to eliminate human “friction,” treating our human limits and moral hesitations as bugs to be removed.
