@tomfriedman Please consider doing a column on the Budapest memorandum in which US, UK, and the Russian Federation guaranteed the integrity of Ukraine. Your views on the three interpretations of that “responsibility” would make good reading
@ProfDavidSa Remember that the most laying achievement of Vincent Scully was teaching students who went on to become enlightened clients. At WPI you have a chance to teach engineering students how to understand and participate in architectural projects. Arup, Maillart, Hennebique
Arrogant and obnoxious — two words to describe the #Sixers. The #76ers are running and posting this video despite the fact a real final study on the proposed new Downtown Philadelphia arena has not been completed or gotten to city officials and the venue is not close to approval. The last I saw was study by city Design Advocacy Group (DAG) and its comment, “The proposal to replace part of our downtown shopping mall with a new sports venue will not solve these problems. In fact, it will make matters worse.” Yet Sixers paid Julius Erving to read a script team wrote and make it sound like Doc is on board, with what the team is making look like a done deal. Like I said, #arrogant.

Shout out to @designadvocacy for standing up for equitable development and coming out against the proposed Sixers arena in Center City. This organization speaks for over 2,100 Philly-based architects and building design experts. This is a very big deal.🙌https://t.co/9aAqFjPBvG
@24_architect@SEPTA@SEPTA_SOCIAL@SEPTANews Great tweet Jim. Are we to believe that the mechanic did not know how to stop the trolley? Something’s fishy. Only in Philadelphia would the accident involve an otherwise not so well known historic house from 1766. Best, George
