There is a substantial number of people that never wanted to have children. They only wanted to have sex. Sex lead to children, hormones lead to the mother bonding with their kids and that’s why we exist. With birth control and abortion it’s only logical that there is a temporary drop in numbers, but hopefully the people remaining will be genetically more inclined to have children.

Also it’s hard for our generation to pay pensions for boomers that outnumber us, but this is also temporary. Once the boomers died off, there will be plenty of living space and jobs available theoretically.

People think that Japan or South Korea are screwed, but in reality they will be able to recover. They will suffer temporarily, but once the boomers are gone and the women who really hate children go extinct, they will probably recover like humanity always had.

Japan and South Korea are in much better place than Europeans. The burden of paying for boomers and having a low birthrate is nothing compared to ethnic replacement.
