It is easy for people to slip out of church quietly, to want to come to church anonymously, and to get into the habit of not really engaging with anyone—coming, sitting, hearing, and consuming but not having meaningful contact with anyone in the church. —Paul Levy (@EalingLevy) https://t.co/eayEltR3dS
Don't suppose anyone driving from N.Ireland to London in the next couple of weeks? I could do with something being boxes delivered and I'm too tight to pay postage
What brought Him from the courts of glory
Of his own will to sorrow’s country?
What brought Him to the hill Golgotha?

@gethin_aj Yea, like director of / missions kind of post. I’m trying to find a use of it before mid 80s? In the UK I don’t think it was used till early 2000’s
@LeeGatiss It is interesting I’ve never of a Minister/ Pastor of a church describe himself as a director. That’s not to say in an org like urs its wrong
@LeeGatiss No problem, steady on - there’s just a lot of directors about, it’s a boom industry. I see what u say abt Christian orgs I’m not not sure that maps on to what paul is instructing Timothy to do.
@LeeGatiss Yea, defo, the management of the household of God but these would be Ministers would they not with authority? I accept the Titus passage we might disagree on who he's talking about.
