Calling West London (and farther afield) Ealing Trade’s Council’s International Women’s Day celebration at Drayton Court Hotel, Wednesday 8th of March - should be great! ✊🏻
It’s the final weekend before the election and we’re going big here in Chingford and Woodford Green 🚀
Tomorrow we’ll be out canvassing with @ronnieo147 (rumour has it he’s been out knocking on doors all week because he loves chatting to our neighbours so much!) and on Sunday Kevin Rowland @DexysOfficial and Kevin Courtney @cyclingkev, former general secretary of the National Education Union, will be with us on Chingford Mount.
All details for the weekend’s events can be found on my website: https://t.co/2T1JyiMAiv 📆
We’ve got 5 days left until the polling stations open. Let’s make every second count.

Dont let the Islington North poll get you down. This elections is won at the doors. We need 20k votes to win. We have solid data that gets us there!
Take Polling Day off (July 4). Spend it getting the vote out for Jeremy. The most important day is Election day. If we get enough volunteers that day, we win

Huge surge in support for Jo Bird
The election race in Birkenhead is set for its closest finish in decades. More and more people are pledging their support for Jo Bird. This makes Birkenhead a clear *two-horse race* between Jo and the new Labour party candidate. Other parties are completely out of the running.
Many people who voted Labour in the past will be voting for Jo this time. They know the Conservatives have absolutely no chance here and are heading for a huge defeat across the country. They also know that business-as-usual Labour are offering nothing new for Birkenhead.
Many therefore tell us they will be lending their support to Jo Bird this time to ensure Birkenhead gets the attention it deserves. Others speak positively of Jo's message of real hope and real change. They want to see the super-rich pay their fair share so we can rebuild our NHS and create good, green jobs that secure a future for our young people.
One of the fun - but also depressing - aspects of doing @tomorrowsMPs is assembling a list of Accidents Waiting To Happen among the new MPs. Any experienced journalist has instinctive feel for wrong-uns. It always amazes me how the parties can't spot them miles away too.
"I want to thank our NHS workers for finding ways to get patients the care they need despite the challenges, and the British public for their ongoing support despite the narrative that the system is broken."
At the rally a few weeks ago.
@WhistleblowingT Echoing some replies: call in sick, no need to go into detail, make sure to get in touch with your school or district rep, or call the advice line; remember that if you have been working more than 5 years, you have up to 6 months full pay for illness under the Burgendy book.
@WhistleblowingT You don’t necessarily get a contract, but you do have to have a written set of particulars spelling out your responsibilities. Anything else is covered in the STPCD.
