All good things come to an end and so has now #EAMT2020! Thank you all for your participation and for making this virtual conference a great event! We hope that the circumstances will change and we will be able to meet again in the beautiful city of Ghent for #EAMT2021!
Today I had the pleasure to talk about some of the things my colleagues at @AcoladGroup and I are working on. Thanks to all @eamt2020 organizers! Hope to see you in Gent, one of my fav places in the world! #EAMT2020
#eamt2020 a very useful standalone PE tool “PosEdiOn: Post-Editing Assessment in PythOn” that can be used for research, tests, etc and computes PE time, HTER and ED. This is so useful as it helps to experiment outside CAT tools, and it includes data visualization!
🎉🎉Congratulations to the #EAMT2020 Best Paper Awardee: "Terminology-Constrained Neural Machine Translation at SAP" by Miriam Exel, Bianka Buschbeck, Lauritz Brandt, and Simona Doneva.
"We cannot engage in race against the machine, because we will fail. What we need to do is to race with the machines". Very nice talk by Karolina Stefaniak on the use of NMT in a real-world scenario. #EAMT2020
“Re-design of the Machine Translation Training Tool (MT3)” by @PaulaEstrellaAR, E.Cuenca, @LauraBruno77, J.Mutal, S.Girletti, L.Volkart & P.Bouillon will be presented at @eamt2020 Today!
And the last talk of the conference just started! Randy Scansani is presenting the pipeline used in his company to estimate MTPE discounts. As you can see from all our tweets, we have covered a lot in these 3 days, from research to very practical aspects of MT in real scenarios!
Mateja Arnejšek is now presenting her work with Alenka Unk: “Multidimensional assessment of the eTranslation output for English–Slovene”. This year we saw many different language pairs being researched! Only today we saw Swahili, Polish, Irish, Slovene... isn't this amazing?
5) Maria Stasimioti, @VSosoni, Katia Kermanidis and Despoina Mouratidis: “Machine Translation Quality: A comparative evaluation of SMT, NMT and tailored-NMT outputs”
Paula Estrella is now presenting her work with Emiliano Cuenca, Laura Bruno, Jonathan Mutal, Sabrina Girletti, Lise Volkart and Pierrette Bouillon on re-designing a Machine Translation Training Tool (MT3) for teaching MT to translation students
