The Inspector General of Rwanda National Police, CG Felix Namuhoranye hosted a dinner in honour of guests and delegations who joined #RwandaPolice for the 25th Police Day celebrations and the conclusion of the EAPCCO Plus Joint SWAT Training Exercise held earlier today.
During the event, CG Namuhoranye expressed appreciation to Police Chiefs, Heads of law enforcement institutions, the EAPCCO Chief Executive Officer, the RECSA Executive Secretary, and accompanying delegates for their presence and continued partnership.
He noted that the strong spirit of solidarity, cooperation, and partnership among regional security and law enforcement institutions has played a significant role in the growth and progress of the Rwanda National Police.
Commissioner Hermitte was also received by his counterpart, CG Felix Namuhoranye, for a courtesy meeting and discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between the two police forces through capacity building and the professionalization of both institutions.

The Inspector General of Police, CG Felix Namuhoranye, has received the Director General of the Burkina Faso National Police, Thierry Dofizouho Tuina, together with the Director of the Burkina Faso Judicial Police, Missa Millogo, at the #RwandaPolice General Headquarters in Kacyiru.
Their discussions centred on sharing experiences and best practices in the areas of road safety, logistics management, community policing, and crime prevention.
They also joined #RwandaPolice in celebrating 25 years of progress, as well as the EAPCCO Plus Joint SWAT Training Exercise held at the Rwanda National Police Counter-Terrorism Training Centre in Mayange.

The Inspector General of the Rwanda National Police, CG Felix Namuhoranye, received the Inspector General of the Kenya Police Service, Douglas Kanja Kirocho, and his delegation at the General Headquarters of the Rwanda National Police in Kacyiru.
During the meeting, the two Police Chiefs signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Rwanda National Police and the Kenya Police Service, marking a significant milestone in strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two law enforcement institutions.
The Memorandum of Understanding provides a framework for enhanced collaboration in combating transnational organised crime and terrorism, narcotics smuggling and trafficking, the proliferation of small arms and light weapons, cybercrime, as well as in information and intelligence sharing, training, and other capacity-building initiatives.

The Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Administration and Personnel, DCG Jeanne Chantal Ujeneza, has officially closed the two-day Eastern Africa Police Chiefs Cooperation Organisation (EAPCCO) Organs Meeting, held at the Rwanda National Police Headquarters in Kacyiru.
The meeting was conducted under the theme: “Leveraging our regional cooperation and partnerships against Transnational Organised Crimes and Terrorism.”
In her closing remarks, DCG Ujeneza noted that the Eastern Africa region continues to face complex and evolving security threats, including terrorism, cybercrime, human trafficking, and illegal cross-border trade.
