Hi, I'm Anna from Sign Pals. I just wanted to let you know about Sign Pals, which is coming soon. You can follow us, RT this Tweet and sign up on the website. Thanks! #signpals#deaf#bsl#deafstayhome
Talking about the stillness last night -
Me: ‘Do I think you’re going to drop a Greek turd in the snow?’
My dad: ‘No do you think this is a precursor to snow?’
#theysaidiheard#misheard#greekturd ?! ❄️💩🇬🇷
On the flip side, someone once just sat down, intrigued, and asked, ‘so, what’s it like wearing hearing aids?’. It was really refreshing, if a little disarming. But I shouldn’t have been disarmed; if you’re curious, just ask! #12DaysofChristmas
What’s the most annoying thing someone has said to you? Retweet & fill in the blanks to our #12DaysofChristmas re-make if you can relate! And for those looking for tips on how to communicate with someone who has #hearingloss this Christmas, click here: https://t.co/6jSZhEy5xJ

Props to Channel 4 News for using in-vision #BSL tonight - helping to bring some rather dry, complicated subjects (#Brexit I’m looking at you 👀) to life, significantly improving access for many viewers. Can we have this all the time plz? Ta! #PurpleLightUp 🙌🏼
In a first for Channel 4 News, our entire programme tonight is being signed in support of #PurpleLightUp campaign which is raising awareness for International Day of Persons with Disabilities day.
Here's Krishnan Guru-Murthy signing the intro for one of tonight's main stories.
@megabusuk Hi Siobhan, does that mean updates aren’t posted on the weekend? I checked on your website and it said that’s where they would be found - I tweeted because there weren’t any updates. The coach was an hour late and I had to pay for a taxi and train instead in order to make an apt.
@EstherMcVey1 Can we link the skills of young people doing temporary work with the need for long-term in-work support and mentoring..? My suspicion is yes #EmploymentSkills18
Summer jobs provide young people with important skills and the chance to find out what they don’t enjoy, yes @EstherMcVey1 but what can you do with those skills? My retail, hospitality and care experience helped me when I moved into job coaching later on #EmploymentSkills18
I thought Kirsty McHugh from @ersa_news was excellent this afternoon; clearly insightful, tenacious and committed. Especially highlighting the need for improved in-work support, which is often lacking or inappropriate #EmploymentSkills18
Good to hear directly from young people at yesterday’s @NDCS_UK#RightfortheFuture conference. Look forward to seeing positive outcomes from links made - thanks for inviting us to discuss available support #Deaf#Youngpeople#AccesstoWork https://t.co/ZTZEZ3MLYS
@GWRHelp Almost all Bristol-Paddington trains cancelled today due to staff shortage - can you consider adjustments to recruitment process, accessing disabled people who may provide solutions to the whole staff shortage thing..?
@GWRHelp Also, packed train had to make emergency stop for about 20 minutes; with only a tannoy announcement providing updates, how can deaf customers receive the messages?
