Hey @CeciliaMaundu , @easter1queen@____Sunrays
🎉
Fellow Kenyans, I'd strongly advise you against tipping uber drivers. Took a trip recently and paid what I was supposed to plus something small on top. Driver went on the app and reported that I had paid him minus KES 200!!! Thread!!

@uber_kenya This being the 2nd incident I'm having with @uber_kenya I'm left wondering, is this a plan between them and their drivers? Last time I paid just so I could use my account again. This time, I'd rather take my chances with other apps coz this is daylight robbery!
This is what I met this morning as I tried to request for an uber, so I logically contacted @uber_kenya customer support and provided them with the full Mpesa screenshot. Unedited!!
@uber_kenya@uber_kenya then responded and basically said, "could you pay the exact amount next time? Because the fare shown and what you sent do not match as you sent more!!!"
And their customer success has since gone silent!!!!
I had the privilege of attending the Stellar Domestic Work Innovation Hackathon Stellar East African Community as the Founder & CEO of Hema Connect LTD, and I left deeply inspired.
What a purposeful gathering
