@bastelgarage provided me an engineering sample of their brand-new ESP8266-based LED circuit board. Flashed it with #WLED for a test with @home_assistant and @openHAB. @esphome_ and @micropython are next.
I needed to wait till it's dark to test it 🫢 Here with HA.

The case of my broken "Mi Motion Sensor Night Light" started a second life. This time with a WeMos Lite (#ESP32), 7 WS2812, a HC-SR602 and a HTU21D. Running @esphome_ and automated by @home_assistant.

The sensor is affected by the controller. Solution: "filters" -> "offset"

It's been a while since I had to deal with the underlaying math used in cryptography. For the proper motivation I started with a random number generator.

Just a couple lines of code and you have your own @CircuitPython-based HRNG with a "poor man serial streaming interface".

Heute eingetroffen USB Adapter für Octoprint, somit wird 5V nicht mehr auf das Druckermainboard übertragen. Natürlich auch gleich ein passendes Gehäuse konstruiert und gedruckt.
