Here is the demo project from my talk: "Building GraphQL API with Sangria" ๐ It has the link to the presentation slides and covers basics and advanced topics like connecting to a DB, fetchers, complexity analysis, auth, etc. https://t.co/tCpcQ63Kuy #scala#graphql#scalaio2018
Liebe Freunde, ich bin die Mutter von Oleg Ilyenko. Ich mรถchte mich bei allen bedanken, die die schรถne Erinnerungen an meinen Sohn und Euren Kollegen @easyangel in gutem Andenken behalten. Ruhe in Frieden, mein lieber Oleg. R.I.P.
@tpolecat @fanf42 BTW, this is the most recent demo project I was working on. It covers several important initial steps when starting with GraphQL. Maybe it would be helpful as well https://t.co/tCpcQ63Kuy
Really glad to see the growth of unions in the game industry. โ Makes me very sad to hear stories of how people are treated. Let's hope it will help to improve the situation.
Game Workers Unite UK is our humble little island's first games industry union, and hoping to push for a better deal, less crunch, paid overtime and more for folks in the business - https://t.co/OFbYghIQ0j
@msvaljek The book is very good, although it is also quite hard emotionally. Made me cry at several places in the story ๐ญ Not quite sure why it have been seen as a controversial. Maybe on science (neurobiology) vs religion grounds?
I feel we locked ourself in as a GraphQL node.js community by using SDL too much. SDL approach really locks us out of doing programmatic type generation, which is critical once your app matures.
After taking courses on information theory and the theory of time, I must admit, I was not expecting #entropy to play such a significant role! Entropy is such an exciting concept! The courses are awesome BTW, highly recommend: https://t.co/tmrrmvtcAK https://t.co/koHKRX8FsX
@_mavilein I have considered it several times in the past. But there were no real use-cases for it. Since support for scalajs requires a fair deal of maintenance I wanted to avoid it and focus more on the JVM side of things. I guess one could use graphql-js (or wrapper around it) on JS side
woo! gave my talk about migrating Medium's codebase using #GraphQL at @ScaleByTheBay ๐
